We’re Not a Clinic. We’re Covington’s Neighborhood Place for Mental Health

When people picture therapy, they often imagine a clinical setting. Think doctor’s office… white walls, fluorescent lights, clipboards and a lot of silent nodding. That’s certainly not us.

At Mainspring Wellness in Covington, KY, we’ve created a mental health space that feels more like a cozy living room than a medical clinic. We believe that healing happens in places where people feel safe, comfortable, and human, not in places that feel cold or clinical.

A Different Kind of Therapy Office in Covington

Our Covington therapy office is located on Philadelphia Street, right next to Goebel Park, a walkable green space with a historic German-style clock tower, shaded paths, and a family-friendly vibe.

We share a courtyard with Piper’s Ice Cream. Mainspring clients get 20% off because who doesn’t want to reward themselves after a successful therapy session!

    No, you don’t have to be “good at art.” Art therapy uses creativity as a tool for expression when words fall short. It’s especially helpful for processing emotions, trauma, and self-discovery in a gentle, non-pressured way.

  • Eco Therapy
    Therapy… outside? Yep. Nature has a calming effect, and eco therapy incorporates outdoor environments, like nearby parks or walking paths, into sessions. Sometimes moving your body or feeling the wind on your face helps untangle the stuff inside your mind.

Whether you’re just starting therapy or coming back after a break, we’ll help you find the right approach to match your goals, comfort level, and personality. No agenda. No judgment. Just therapy that meets you where you are.
